IVA solves £90,000 credit card debt problem

Credit Card Debt

Credit card debit is incurred by a person when he spends a portion of the debt limit on his card to purchase goods or services. Credit cards are issued by two companies: one is a bank and the other is the sponsoring company behind the credit card. A customer is assigned credit limit on his card that is the amount that he can spend. The credit limit of a customer is the total amount that he can spend and it can vary according to his credit balance which is the amount he has already used and has not yet paid.

A customer is supposed to make payments for all the expenditures that he incurs on time otherwise his available credit may get reduced and he can also incur a late penalty fee. A customer is supposed to make payments for any expenditure that he has incurred along with interest, if unable to do so he will be charged with a late penalty by the company. This will create a very bad impression of the customer as his late penalty fees will be reported by the credit card company to all the credit reference agencies adversely affecting the credit history of the customer. Credit cards enable a customer to take a specified proportion of credit and withdraw it as and when they need it. A customer has a credit line for which he is supposed to pay a specified rate of APR (Annual percentage rate).

Usually, what the customers do when they meet with a debt crisis is that they tend to take more credit which completely aggravates their situation and puts them in a situation of credit spiral. The most advisable way to never be a victim of a worsening credit card debt situation is to refrain from taking more and more credit card debt when you do not have the ability to pay the same. Instead of completely relying on credit to meet your increasing expenditures, try to cut down on them. You should try to balance your expenditures with your income or increase the latter. You should always take credit card debt according to your repayment capabilities to avoid defaults later.
